but i also like that brass material, it's nice'n'smooth and a lil bit scratchy.

i'm pretty sure your final creations look even better. You know what i did for these renderings, no magic really. I had this old studiosetup done months ago, i dropped the model in there, ditched the lightplanes and added a hdr to supply with the light, reflections and enviroment. And then i rendered it with multilight. That's all!
Hervé: Hehe, i do hope so Hervé. If i can get my idea from the brain to the computer without much trouble then i'd be a happy puppy.

I guess it's time to start the UV unwrapping now, oh the joy of doing that.. to be honest i hate it but it has to be done. Sigh..
