F-Edge?

final render can do it on the fly, adjusting the normals in the places that need filleting. You just specify the radius of the fillet. I wish maxwell will have the same thing...

Love to know how they do it.
Actually I always love to fix that kind of stuff, here is a screen, now it's right with a fillet edge of 0.2mm
I rebuild it completely:

and a small updated render, rendered in studio using the preset studio setup:

Cheers.

Solving in in render? nah, if I can model it I model it

Yes Nico, that's usually how I solve it, too, with the rounding already in the profile.. the problem is when it's squared corners... but like I said, there is a pain-in-the-ass method for it, if I can remember it.

Exactly :D in this case I just deleted the other curves and extend the rounded curves long enough so that I can still cut the surfaces with it when extruded.

P.s. if you remember how that other method works I would love to know!

No just fillet the model. Takes about 20 seconds. Don't know about using software like Maya/Rhino but in Solidworks you fillet either side of the tips first, then click to fillet the top edge.... which now automatically fillets continuously along that edge rather than you having to pick every element.

No, it's curves, still need to make a texture for it.

Its modelled? I reckon it's best to model as much as possible. Oh look, this is like a repeat of the previous fillet conversation.

Digital verniers are the way forward. The other day I found out that the labels on Coke bottles are 0.04 mm in thickness.
