Thanks for the tip on Icarus>Xsi, very useful There is quite a bit of barrel distortion in the original pic, would have helped the match if it was possible to do in Maxwell.

Is Icarus still available for download anywhere?

Mihai - You can correct barrel distortion in Icarus, so I should have removed this from the original photo before matching it!
As daros said on the previous page, the Icarus technology was bought by The Pixel Farm (http://www.thepixelfarm.co.uk/) and they produced a product called PFTrack. They also make a non pro version called PFHoe which I think you can download as a demo (http://www.thepixelfarm.co.uk/contentfu ... e_more.htm) download at the bottom of the page, user manuals on the support pages. I'm not sure whether it's as easy as Icarus but it's free so worth a try...

It's ok, I found a page with Icarus 2.07, and a bunch of video tutorials (pretty funny ones too, the guy says half the time - i don't know what this does, or this, or this here, but i leave them at defaults).

I think 2.09 was the last release but 2.07 should be pretty much there. Let me know how you get on with it...
