 Super Cool Kurt
Maximus3D wrote::oops: thanks for your kind words D7. There's a couple of tips i can give you already Nico, grab a copy of Moi3D and one of 3D-Coat and use Moi to export your SW model as a mesh with quads, then you use 3D-Coat to paint dirtmaps and general wear and tear on the quadmesh you exported so nicely from Moi. In 3DC you can easily build a new topology ontop of your Wall-e model or you can use 3Dc's auto-UV feature and instantly start texturing it. These are both great tools and workflows for any serious textureartist out there who wanna have filthy & dirty models. :)

I have to say, great update also on your model. The details are stunning already and i know they will be even better. Keep going! :)

Also Solidworks importer will ship with Modo 401.

The importer is already working in Photoview 360.
Modo it seems a better solution for SolidWorks users...(in theory)
load.SLDPRT AND .SLDASM...UV, Paint, Render.Or Render with Maxwell. (All That's Left Is a Modo plugin)

Thanks so much guys!!

Hey Magnus, Ah ok I wasn't aware of that, I'm going to dig in to both suggestions

Here is another update I modeled the small light cap with internal reflector, and some other detailing around the speaker opening.
Btw, the charge level indicator will not stay like this, I'm looking for a more elegant solution.

Dear friends,

Just little modelling these days, but here's a small update and a "nice" render.
I hope to have another update tonight, with some other wheels.
