Hello, this is my first car in HDR lightning and i have to say that i am totally loving it.
Not that is the easy part, the hard part is making the car look real and since i have a medium size poly car its going to impossible to fool any one, but i would love to use some of your tips on car materials, as you can see
the windshield is a failure, i´m using AGS glass but sis download glass materials from the material database and still they don't look like the real deal, any one has one to share that its actually good.
I have seen car paints in other threats that are amazing, this black color is with the default car paint in the wizard tab.
I see that tail lights and front lights only look real if modeled correctly, i cant do that and i was trying to set a texture with in studio and it is a real pain in the ass, i believe mapping a texture should be really simple inside studio, but it isn't.
Help guys, i´m not new to Maxwell, been here since the beginning, but just now i´m starting to come back to it and i´m very exited to make it my main rendering engine for 2011.
