Looks like you already mastered the possibility to sculpt hard edges! (havn't tried those new brushes yet)
Looks great! :D

I'm currently struggling with uploading a Multilight animation of an updated version of ClawSnake (will post pics of that when the animation is uploaded)
But Flickr is starting to annoy me. It's perfect for photo sharing but videos...
Just keeps giving me a ridiculous "Bonk!" message and doesn't tell me if it's their servers that has problems or if it's the codec!
(I'm using .mov format with Mpeg4 encoding, same as my Camera since flickr accepted movies in that format....are there different mpeg4 codecs?)

Good tip David, but I think I'll stick to Flickr since I'm already paying for that. :D
(and WHEN video-upload works, it allows me to upload HD quality video.)

Flickr is great since I can take photos of family/relatives and set "family access only" on them.
All of my relatives are a bit paranoid about being seen on internet, but me and my brother got them all to get flickr accounts
(saves us the problem we always got before: after gatherings when we took hundreds of photos and everyone wanted us to burn them on disk or print them, now they can download and do whatever they like  )

I've updated the first post with the new re-textured creature. They are as usual availble in highres here:

I'll try the video upload on flickr later in the week...I guess the staff is home for the weekend and that they are needed for manually copy/pasting each video frame into some flash-app :P

Thanks!

And the 980X.... well worth the money!

Although I wasted most of my vacation on playing PC-games on that computer and I started to wonder WHY I paid so much for my computer!
(I have a Logitech G19 keybord with a display that shows CPU and Memory usage.... and with games it only uses 20% of the CPU and only 8% of the memory  )

But this last week with ZBrush and MaxwellRender has been great, and I feel that I bought the right hardware.
Maxwell really loves the 980X and to get a usable render in for example half an hour instead of hours is awesome!
( since I now learned that the long rendertime for my first ClawSnake renders was that I did something stupid with the SSS material  )
And my test with Multilight Color showed that 24Gb of memory wasn't too much

Thanks Nico!

Sigh, last week was my first work-week after a 5 week vacation. (boring, because most of the customers are still on vacation so there wasn't much to do :( )
Still, I've started Maxwell and ZBrush every day during the week and I hope to keep that up instead of just being lazy in front of the TV or play PCgames after a long day.
( so hopefully it wont take years before next render :? )

So, is this a known issue?
