The red and blue channels are way out of alignment, they should be much closer to together. Also they don't seem to go parallel.

So i think your cameras have to be closer together. The distance should be the same as your eyes are. 7 or 8 centimeters.
The POV is the same for both camera's.

I did a few animations in stereoscopy and used this plugin: http://www.burningpixel.com/Max/StereoG.htm It's great for testing with scanline, after that you can just use the camera's
for Maxwell rendering and composite the images in After Effect.

I haven't seen the first one, but this one looks pretty nice - everything works the way it should (meaning 3D), except all the stuff behind the window.
Don't know - maybe make them out of focus...

EDIT: Now that I can see the first image, I can say - the second one is waaay better.

So, is this a known issue?
