The inside diameter wall of that HQ would probably be illuminated too.....

glebe digital: Thank you too. Rerendering the base of the Thunderbird with some flame emitters didn't work too good this time (better luck next time I do anything similar!).

The finished image had some more smoke added and slight colour variation to the tree leaves added as postwork.
