Here are a couple of questions for you Blitzor: How did you control the size of the HDR softbox image? When I created an HDR similar to the one you used it was seemingly very large and didn't give me any dark contrasting areas on my object. Just a uniform lightness. Also how did you control the positioning of your HDR to get the best lighting? Thanks again for answering!!!!!!!

Nice images Blitztor, it really helps in improving my images of diamonds!

Put this image on the thread i started on the main page to start a jewellery only gallery thread.

I think however, I actually prefer your first image, more contrast between the facets of the stone - i think the second seems a little washed out.

Another thing i wasnt doing in my image was hiding my emitters from the reflection/refraction, which i think was making it look a little washed out.

So, is this a known issue?
