Hi

Image

I've rendered this out and so far I'm pretty happy but I feel that there's something lacking. It's supposed to be a villa in the south of Spain. The two main issues I see are firstly that there's no human input and secondly that there should be more furniture/vegetation.

I'm thinking that it should perhaps be done in PS but my PS skills are shall we say still in their infancy....

If anyone has any suggestions please fire away...

TIA

...deails...

the material of the floor around the pool is totally flat. I'm sure it will have a bump, maybe holes for the water... and of course the stairs to come out from the pool.

the building basement is just painted until the floor? Or a different material will be used for the really first part (to avoid the dirty)?

maybe some other 3d green ( try http://graphics.uni-konstanz.de/~luft/ivy_generator/ )

maybe a bump map in the mass of white of the building... and something inside, can be only curtains.

nice smooth image already!

don't forget some detail like a small metal lines on the roof and on the windows opening lower sides (used to protect water drain into the walls). also, some not shining lights (maybe recessed) inside the building would add to realism. the steel chimney looks a bit dark and is too mirror like. the open place behind the glass looks a bit empty - you could put a table and some stools, that's a good place for lunch! ...maybe a towel on one of the poolchairs?

it's a pity the image is cropped that tight on the left side.

So, is this a known issue?
