morning.

my new semester work: to design a horse sport center (large hall)

my approach was to use dark wood (maybe painted) and weathering steel. i added a shed roof and use the same language for the facade.

first renderings. (will take some long time until i'm happy !)

I like the roof / wood material but the overall image is TOO red and gets lost. I can't really tell what I am looking at unless I sit there and really look hard.

yeah, it needs to calm down. too many elements to look at...

the outside is kinda calm and quiet... the renderings even don't show the amount of work that has been done...

whoah cool facade and interesting sado-maso luxury interior, I can immagine alot of whipping going on inside that horse pen

Very cool geometry for the exterior facade, I would try to break it up a bit, maybe a touch of color or transparency on the facade, or like you said, add some movement to the exterior design for the horse area, in contrast to the rigid (and interesting) seriality of the facade exterior.

imho you need something that will make the building less intimidating. Something to soothe the mind with that cozy feeling of country and horseback riding.
