I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would. I'm thinking of doing a series of road attractions (or what I think are attractions) this is the first. When I moved to the states it seemed to me America loved bridges and all the iterations of them. Image

comments are welcome

This is very nice :) Could be better in a full environment or composited with a photo...

Very nice, I love it.
Kind of reminds me of those eighties roller skate movies, or I imagine those flying monkeys riding there motorcycles from the movie the Wizard of Oz 8)

very nice. i've been wanting to do a series of overpasses for a while along with street corners.

i can see this becoming a great scene to play with. lots of detail you could add. a careful mix of traffic, moving and stand still? weathered textures? signage? a car smashed into the yellow bumpers with a couple of squad cars at the scene of the accident if you are up to the challenge!!!

now you've got me thinking about building one. :)

great great start. :)

Yes. We love bridges, ..in fact, .. we'd prefer to only walk and drive on just bridges if possible. Please, .. none of this ground stuff anymore, ..just bridges thank you. :P

tom: I am toying with the right setting but haven't really struck on what is right yet. Ed Ruscha's work keeps rolling through my mind as a way to think about the image.
NicoR44: I was thinking film as a way to approach the image. all those films with wide expansive shots and some odd thing that the camera approaches and and is enveloped by. (mad Maxx is a good thing to think about for that)
rusteberg: Yes, to all of it. A Jeff Wall (Canadian photographer) kind of image maybe?
ivox3: have you seen what they are doing to Las Vegas? with all the walkways over the strip? It's hilarious. I love it.

thanks for the comments

Looking really good, val2. I agree that if you put a background image in, you'll be pretty much there, and the potential of a full scene like this is enormous. I look forward to seeing where you take this.
