Yes, maybe they are not as useful as concrete walls but well, how long they would have to wait to be simulated.

Hervé, thx. ;)

 8) Totally cool TOm.

Will it be possible to animate textures in Studio, or will we have to use the methods you have?

Cheers,

Tim.

Thank you Tim! I just used 3dsmax plugin for this animation, nothing special.

Here's a close-up of a bubble on the streets of Pisa. ;)

Using 3ds max I tried to do a similar thing as you have shown here .. making a sphere assigning your Soap Bubble Material. Then I used a .mxi (created out of a .jpg using MXCL) as background (screen mapping), illumination, reflection and refraction channel. But when I render it is showing like it is solid and not transparent. When I model a box and put it behind, it does show like transparent. Why is the .mxi background not showing through this soap bubble. Any idea what I might be doing wrong here? Thanks

EDIT: I will try rebuilding the scene .. get some strange error messages about a missing map that I can not see is used anywhere (c:\temp\raro.jpg). Will see it that helps.
