and thank you for sharing your thoughts on both how you did it (looking forward to your tuts), but also what you say about choosing M~R for this type of (artistic) 3d work. I really feel the same and hope some day to get some time to explore the possibilities of making these kind of creative renders - having that realistic look and feel and at the same time being surreal/fantasy/atmospheric. Love it.

I'm wondering if you could 'fix' the problem of it rendering too clean-looking by adding a noise map to the object?
