I'm currently doing some tests in VIZ 2008 with Maxwell 1.6.

I noticed that the "real world scale" and the "angle" in the material editor aren't being supported. Can anyone confirm this and is there a solution for it?

Thanks.

O.k,

the solution would be to tweak the setting in the uvw modifier instead of the material editor settings.

"Read world scale" map check is translated to Maxwell, but 3dsmax is using other tiling method than Maxwell, so the Maxwell results won't match 3dsmax's viewport. It's better to avoid using tiling from 3dsmax's map and instead use an UVW modifier as you said you've tried.
"Angle" is not translated to Maxwell, because there isn't any Maxwell counterpart for it.

We found a way to match Maxwell result with max's viewport. The "fix" will be available in the next update.
