1.5 max plug:

1. Open material editor. (Make sure you setup the scene for Maxwell rendering first.)
2. Click the "Standard" button (to change the default standard material type to maxwell)
3. In the Material/Map Browser window single click the "Maxwell Material" entry. You get a dialog saying: "Cannot translate material '(null)': Invalid Referenced MXM file."

I don't even have any materials loaded because it's a fresh, empty max scene with no objects. If, however, you double click the "Maxwell Material" entry as opposed to just single click it, this error does not happen.

This is happening because you've set the Maxwell Material to work as a referenced .mxm file. When single click on the Maxwell Material, the Material/Map Browser wants to render a preview of the .mxm file in order to update its preview window. But since the file doesn't exists at that moment, you get that error.

It's a simple error notification message that will not affect anything in your scene. We'll try to find a fix for it. Thanks for sharing it.
