is it me ?? or whenever i push the render or the update preview button MXI files are created everywhere ... in the desktop, at the folders qhere the textures are located etc

No offense, but is that not something that the beta testers/developers should have picked up? It is a pretty obvious bug to find!

I normally sit in the background and let it all flow over me but a lot of problems people are talking about seem to be obvious bugs. In the past I have beta tested for several renderers and these are things that would be picked up first...
