multi-sub object works perfectly for me, im in a scene with like 5 right now.. glasses, metals and everything inside them and work perfectly;)

yes multi's seem to work here also, but I'm avoiding them out of shear panic trying to remember what material is which!

I have to detach every ID Face to use the Multimaterial, aaarrrggh :x
You can imagine the extra work when there are 30-40 IDs to detach
every time. My fun from RC5 till MXW 1.0 is little gone.
The new features are really enhancing but the workflow what NL advertised is till now not implemented.

Would be very nice to eliminate this for the next Plugin update
(hope soon). I thought NL will take care for this problem after RC5, where it has began.

if i recall correctly, multimats worked before too, its the emitters that didnt work if placed inside a multisubmat.

i really hope a new much improved plugin for max is on its way... coz i still think despite all the improvements most plugins still suck big time. Its alll very well for those using studio but for max users not only we can't use most other plugins and effects but also M~R plugin is too buggy and rendered useless in most occasions.
