I have a model of some buildings that I have linked to MAX and want to change the position of the sun because the orientation in the cad file does not have north straight up. Is there a way to do this, either inside of max or in studio?? Thanks

Hey Peter, sorry you're not getting any replies. I just think everyone is nervously anticipating version 1.0 release.

I'm a 3dsmax/studio user myself. Are you using a sun system for your lighting model? (I'm assuming that's why you asking about orientation)

In Max the only way is to rotate the building.... In studio I am not sure as I have never used it.... Don't like it!!

Hope this helps

I have the same problem coming for ArchiCAD via 3DS format. Rotating in Studio seems to rotate all objects selected about their individual axes rather than around one Single user defined axis. Strange. But I am sure I am just overlooking something.. .....Anyone? ....Buhler??
