I think forums work better... Chatrooms are too fast and if there are many guests it's a headache. Also with these forums you can go away for some hours or a couple of days and still get all the info you lost.

Hehe nah it'd be silly to only have a chatroom for the users here which is only focused on 3dsmax, that shuts out 75% of the users :D ofcourse it's open for everyone.

With a addon for phpbb2 you can run a realtime java based chatroom on a forum like this, it's dead easy to setup, it takes about 15 min to do totally. Even i did it a while back :D works charmingly well.

it would be also nice since it can be used with the firums to reffer to images and even nicer if there was a technical aspect to it; meaning that it would be the best place to quickily solve problems, u think. Definetly not mor max only....
