When I rendered my scene through plugin in 3dsmax, mxs file is saved automatically unwanted location (documents and setting / user / local settings / temp / ????.tmp).

If I rendered again with another seed through maxwell viewer, it is too dificult to find my mxs file.

It'll be good to save at the same location with output path.
when I put the name in the output render of 3ds, automatically is created in same directory also file mxi and mxs.

Really? I don't know why my scene couldn't create mxs file at the same folder. :?

In my case, just MXI file and output image are created, not mxs.

Hello, I looked into Max customize settings and there is a label for maxwell where it says Swatch rendering, Does anyone knows what it is?...It looks like the "preview options" of the old material editor, does it work?.

I saw somebody that had a big preview of their material totally clean.... I think it was corneliu, how did it got so clean?...my previews look like I was under water without glasses :D

Thank you

Those options didn't work in the version that was released on Tuesday, but they have been implemented in the mean time. We'll upload an updated version today.

Hi corneliu, hey I have to admit you and rest of the plugin team seem to have done a hell of a job on these new plugins (ignoring a few issues). I am very impressed with what I'm see. o much closer to what I've always thought it should be like.

Anyhow, I just install the lastest Max Plugin update, but I'm having a few issues. I'm not getting any of the new M~R camera options and getting some maxscript errors. I will mention that I didn't see the note here about uninstalling first. The the first time I installed without an uninstall. Then I did do an uninstall/reinstall, but still had the same problems. Could there still be some issues with the old plugin install (that could be missed by the new uninstaller). Thanks

BTW, here is the maxscript error... (happens after importing a .3ds file)

-- Error occurred in addMtlParams()
-- Frame:
-- Obj: undefined
-- customMxParams: <AttributeDef:Maxwell Parameters>
-- Error occurred during fileIn in StringStream:"include "maxwell_mtlprop.ms"
addMtlParams $'Model'"
-- Unknown property: "material" in undefined

-- Obj: undefined
-- customMxParams: <AttributeDef:Maxwell Parameters>
-- Error occurred during fileIn in StringStream:"include "maxwell_mtlprop.ms"
addMtlParams $'Model'"

P.S. FYI, I am installing todays plugin update over the plugin from a quite a while ago (not yesterdays).
