As I said previously, there's no support for exporting animations from Max yet. We're working on it.

emiter material don't work by me. The emitersphere in my scene is black and it makes no light in the if i render. I don't knew if it is a mistake by me or if it is a bug.

How did you set up the material? Did you try one of the presets from the dropdown or one of the emitter materials from the library? Is your scene scale right (maybe the object is huge)? Did you touch global scale?

i try a preset material, the units in my scene are meters. The global material scale is 0. The sphere is black and it makes no light on the scene when i render my scene.

jepsi, the sighn shows that you must update the preview.

That symbol tells you that you've changed the settings of the material since you last updated the preview image, so the preview image is probably not reflecting the current settings of the material. If you press "update preview" that sign goes away (until next time you change the material, of course).

Mihnea now the emitersphere works. Something of my scalefactor was not right. Can you tell me, if i work in meter what global scalefactor i must have to set the emetermaterial right in my scene.

You shouldn't touch the global scale factor if you model your scenes to scale, leave it at 1. The plug-in automatically handles the conversion from the units used in your scene to meters. You should instead tweak the emitters, but this is not plug-in specific, it's about how Maxwell works with light sources. I can't explain this well enough in brief, but in short, the bigger your sphere is, the dimmer it will look in the render, so you have to increase the power of the light source or its efficacy etc.

Also, please check the exposure settings on your camera. The default settings for perspective view are 1/250 shutter speed, 5.6 f-stop and ISO 100. This might be too low for an interior scene and to adjust them create a normal camera and go to the Maxwell rollup. We'll soon add global settings for the exposure defaults used in views without a camera.

PS: try to watch Mike Verta's movies. Even though they were made for Maya, most of the things there apply to the Max plug-in as well.

In Max8, in the "Szene rendering" dialog from Maxwell all parameters which i change in the "Tone Mapping" dialog don't saved. I get every time the same Parameters (Mode=Normal, Gamma= 2.0 and Burn 0,0). I think that is not okey.

Auto saving path of MXS file.

When I rendered my scene through plugin in 3dsmax, mxs file is saved automatically unwanted location (documents and setting / user / local settings / temp / ????.tmp).

If I rendered again with another seed through maxwell viewer, it is too dificult to find my mxs file.

It'll be good to save at the same location with output path.
