There is another way to create maxwell camera from perspective view without script.

Create a standard camera in perspective view with Ctrl+C and then press C
Go to modify tab and remember value of target distance.
Then, create a Maxwell free camera anywhere in the scene.
Align Maxwell camera with standard camera with orientation and position axis all checked (pivot point).
Image
Delete standard camera. Select Maxwell camera, go to modify tab, change to Target Camera and adjust Target Distance.
That's all

Send me the macro_objectcameras.mcr file to vansan[a]list.ru, I'll update it and place in the first post.
By the way - why do u use VIZ? Max8 (even 7.5) seems to have all the same features and tips.

Yes it is, but it is good to know some other possibilities.
In some situations it can be usefull, maybe lack of internet access, problems with installation, or
working with some other render engines with same camera problem as Maxwell, etc...

Maybe my previous post sounds like I wanted to decrease value of your script (guilt is my bad english), but it wasn't my intent.

Thank you for the script vansan, it is realy great.

I agree, very fine and usefull script (Thanks vansan). Another way - that I tend to use when I dont have this script installed:

1. Create a Maxwell target camera anywhere in the perspective view
2. Press CTRL C
2. Press C
