I have an issue with VIZ 2008 and the material previews updating.
Every time I open an existing project the Maxwell plug-in will re-generate a preview for each material. It delays a large project after it has opened by up to five minutes.
What believe is happening is that VIZ’s tool palette is generating the material previews even if I have turned it off.
To work around I’ve limited the material preview to a single sample level, set the material browser to manual update and update active only but it is still very slow.
Any suggestions would be appreciated? Thanks

We haven't tested the plug-in in VIZ 2008, we'll look at it and release a fix as soon as possible.
