Had have a very quick look at 1.5.
As soon as I add a background image .jpg/tga it either stops the render or renders with a very odd looking background.
Also anyone that knows how to get the maxwell materials to preview in the viewports?

I haven´t the background issue.

In order to get the maxwell materials in the viewports (Do you refer to material editor slots?) only push the update preview button in the material properties.

not sure what is wrong here reg the background images.
I meant how to get the materials to preview in my scene in max, is this doeable these days?
