Ran into an issue last night and i was wondering if anyone has dealt with it on the past.
I have a model that is beign converted to a max file. The model already has the UVW coordinates imbeded onto the mesh. After converting and opening into Max the following happens. If I apply a map to it it will only show a color, no texture. Add a UnwrapUVW mod. to it and when i click edit the mesh is so ridicously small that it is even imposible to scale it up and match it to the map scale. I have tried reconverting to an edit mesh, but the UVW issue remains. Is there a way of manually scale the mesh on the UVWmod without using the scale or free gizmo tools? This is driving me insane.

You can try to apply a RESET XFORM utility and collapse to editable poly or mesh. it would should to work.
