I know there are problems with motion blur, but even so, I would like to try... Can somebody write a quick way and some tips to do this?
I am not a CG artist, and I would appreciate any quick tutorial (or a link to it).

TIA

I just did an image with motion blur that I posted in the gallery.

In 3dsmax, select the object you want to have motion blur, and move it to it's starting postion. With the buttons at the bottom of the screen, click on the Auto Key button. This will 'start the recorder' for your motions. Since you need an initial keyframe, click on the big key button to set the starting postion of the object.

Now, move your slider to whatever frame you want your animation to stop. Move your object to it's ending position (you can also animate rotation, scale and ton's of other things). Now click on the Auto Key button again to turn off the 'recording.'

Next you need to tell Max that you want this object to render with motion blur. Right click on the object and select Properties. Down at the bottom is a box for motion blur. Click on the Object check box and hit OK.

Now you are ready to render. You won't get any motion blur if you render your first or last frame of the animation. The program is calculating movement from the previous frame and the following frame.

That's it in a nutshell!

Have fun!

Thank you very much!!!

That was very easy indeed. So, there is no adjustments for Maxwell. All I have to do is from MAX. Good...
