hi there,

i'm spending time getting familiar with RC5, am i missing something or is positioning cameras in RC5, difficult to do? I've created a camera and trying to get it to look at my objects is extremely awkward.

I want to click and drag a target camera in plan just like in 3DMax. Is this possible in RC5? some tips would be great. thanks in advance.

hi Kenneth,

i've done that too, but the problem then becomes you have to create a series of MXS files to import different cameras. this is not good.

ideally we need to be able to import multiple cameras into one MXS scene.

this is very annoying and a waste of time. counter productive in the workflow process.

I just create a camera, get "in it" and move around like in perspective; with alt+ mouse buttons, alt+shift+mouse buttons, right mouse button>auto focus or look at selected or center the scene.

i have tried that. not very user friendly. Maxwell has some work to do on it's interface regarding cameras. thanks.
