Thank you Max, I need to work on the windows and let it burn more. Maybe one more window on the left side but then it should be finished. The only thing I don't like is the table which looks as it would floating above the floor... :?

reaaly nice clean render...

can I crit a bit...

-windows closing system looks a bit odd, can you close each window part independantly... usually there is only one side that locks both parts..

-the floor reflection of the low table feet is bit strong (looks like a rocket flying table, but it is maybe normal... I mean in reality)

- I love the art work, I hate the blueish pattern on the wall... (but it's up to you.)

Idea : some flying thin curtains would add life and drama... (but maybe you don't want life & drama... he he)

I like the floor texture..

@+

Oo.. and a couple of things if i'm allowed to crit a lil.

- a hanging big piece of cloth in some nice color covering the ceiling lights would be quite pretty :)
- the big separation between each of those wooden floor tile block thingy's is too big, can you make it narrower ?
- plants brings rooms to life ;)
- lightfixtures above the artwork would have a good effect on it too
- maybe not too many windows in the room as you were planning, that could look weird, use the light you have more effeciently instead and let it lit your room and cover the big empty wall to the left with something else instead.
- i agree about the blueish wall
- curtains is a good idea too :)

Thank you for your ideas. The huge gap between the wooden tiles were intentional, I like that though you may stumble sometimes... I will add a few light above the pictures. Plants have to be modeled. I thought the blueish wall would bring some life into the room but I will think it over... Windows will be fixed (not yet finished as I mentioned  )

So do you have any suggestions on the floating table?

Thanks again and have a great weekend!

And I forgot to say that there is no glass in the windows. Haven't figured out how the sun light can come through it yet...

Heh, about the floor. I can only imagine that in the morning barely awake running around barefeet striking your toes in between those tiles is painful! :)

The table.. hm yes i would probably adjust the floor first so it don't reflect so much as the reflection itself is so strong it takes the attention from pretty much everything else including your table and paintings and the rest also. It needs to be toned down lots more. I would also prefer a differently designed table, the squareness of that one is so.. exuse the word now.. boring. More smooth curves on stuff. People don't wanna cut themselves on objects :P

You would probably get a better result without any glass surfaces in the window. Unless maybe you have sunlight and then plane emitters outside the windows at the correct angle of the sun and the same intensity also. But that would generate more noise so i wouldn't go down that road.. it looks good without glass windows.

Can't you use premade plantmodels instead ? that would save you so much time.. modeling and texturing plants is lotsa work.

Keep up the good work sms!

Thank you very much for your thoughts. You are probably right about the toes but this room wasn't made for morning times

If I would adjust the floor you wouldn't see any reflections coming from the sofa. I have used a specular map with 10% white so far. I think the problem is the metal material for the table. I will have a closer look at this.

You have a good eye, Max, and I will try to design another table if it fits.

OK, back to LightWave Modeler...

Anytime sms :) i'm just happy to help if i can

If it wasn't made for barefoot morningwalks then it's probably no worry hehe, but i would probably stumble on it anyways :P
Mm.. yes you're right about that, the metal table is pushing it's own reflection so strongly onto the floor like that. I missed that thing, damn.
But i'm sure you can find a workaround for that problem and make it look good. Perhaps plastic is the way to go to emulate metal without the strong secondary reflections on the floor..

:D my eyes.. ah yes, that's just the artist within me that speaks ;) thanx sms
