Hi all :D
All critics are useful, especially about the design, colors, feng-shui...

This was originally rendered at 7000K, i post leveled it cause too dark after 13H.

And the last version, just an idea:

There should be an easly accessible towel. No one wants to get a towel then was their hands or wash their hands then get a towel

Oo.. can i comment on this :P hope so.. heh ok here it comes. You said you wanted critics on the design and stuff.

1st image: Except for the obvious darkness in this image i'm curious to what supports the little glass shelf, it seems to be floating on the wall :) the sink design is a bit "odd", i would make that ceramic sink sit atleast halfway down in the wooden thing it stands on so it's integrated in the object more. And also as it's ceramic it would need strong highlights.

2nd image: This is also too dark, lit it up more and it comes to life. And you got some werid texture stretching going on in several places here. Fix those please. The wooden table like thingy the ceramic sink thing stands on got too sharp edges. You would easily cut yourself on those. The mirror frame isn't pretty, make something more exciting there.

3rd image: Same comments as on the 1st and 2nd images but o boy i wouldn't wanna tile this bathroom hehe, there are 17 billion tiny tiles to fit on the wall ;) and i'm not sure how common wooden floors are in a bathroom now unless maybe they're heavily coated with laquer in multiple layers to be protected, maybe it could be switched into another material more suitable for a bathroom floor.

Basically i think it looks good, and it'll look even better with a few improvements here and there in the scene to spice it up a bit and give it more life. Maybe some exotic plants liven it up more.. a nice lightsetup and something so people see that it's a place in usage. And also how about a toilet in there.. ;) heh

It would be nice to see light fittings emitting "light". I see you had some around the mirror but i'd like to see at least one of the ones lighting the scene.
Everything is very sqaure and sharped edged, maybe a bit of filleting would go a long way.
No shower head/fitting ? Most bathrooms have bath and shower or bath with shower fitting.
As with the light fittins maybe a light switch or cord, shaving plug, toilet ???
Finally extra objects, my bathroom is full of objects ( mainly beauty products keeping me young and handsome  ) and this bathroom could atleast use some stylish object and even a cool plant somewhere on a shelf or in a corner.

Good luck with the image

i launched another render with lights turned on, no skylight
and some changes in scene.

Maximus : i've replaced the glass shelf with a extrusion inside the wall, and am choosing a cool mirror to put in.
For the sink, i saw that installation at a lot of manufacturers.
The sink highlights, it seems they don't want to appear, though i used the same material for the bath, that shows them. I'll work all material and lighting at the end.
Finally, i like these tiles, turning all my scene design around it, but i agree, it needs lot of work to be clean!
Personnaly, i don't like toilets in bathrooms, so i probably won't put one.
Again, thanks for your time and suggests :D

Hi:
I have built bathrooms with this kind of tiles. Actually, it's easier than tiling at "normal" size. You don't tile piece by piece. They come in big size stickers and you can cut it the size you want.

ok, because the subject is not the render quality, i stopped this after 3h30, 10 samples.
Light emitters are at less 3x too bright, and the Sss of the lamps is not visible.
Manyway u can see what i've changed, please tell me what are your opinions! (guns are forbidden)

I agree with maximus, maybe u need some plants, accesories, . or something to make it look a little bit warmer. Looks nice.

Alrighty then, hehe it looks better now :)
But still a few things i'd like to change. Just a comment regarding almost all furniture and misc objects in the bathroom, they're all too square, too sharp corners. I think it's better with more soft objects, more circular and semi-circular shaped objects, smoother edges and not this industrial type box like design. That's soooo not nice in my eyes. But others might ofcourse be of a different meaning about that.
And the bowls for the sink are too big, and too high also.
The lamps above the mirror look good, i like those.

Towel hangers both hooks and bars would be useful to have. I could almost see a border of tiles with a differnt pattern/color up along the ceiling, something like old greek style something look on them to break the pattern and give it a bit more sophisticated look. Also some type of lightfixture in the ceiling would be nice, waterproof ofcourse :)

A piece of Mediterranian artwork over the bathtub would probably enhance the scene further ;) hehe
How about some of those soft furry carpets on the floor, something nice to stand on and walk on..

I think that's all for now :) heh.. if you want more comments about it let me know.

I agree Renato, and hmmmm.... what style of plant...hmmmmm

Great Maximus, you're tolerant with the fact i'm a noob at designing spaces, and give me nice critics and ideas :D
Feel free to continue!

I'll post another one monday morning, so you can sleep now

Heya def4d :) we're all noobs until we learn more. I'm infact even more of a noob than you are at interior design (never done it before). But i'll be happy to help you out with ideas and design tips anyways as i got tons of ideas and you're a skilled modeler :) so on Monday i'll give you more ideas and i'll be looking forward to your newly updated bathroom scene then to see what you improved. I'm sure it'll be so good i won't have anything to comment on anymore.

Have a nice weekend! :)
