I've opend an image in MXI Viewer and saved as MXI, then i created an MXI Texture (you have this new option in the textures categories) using this image i saved.... all you need to to then is applay an Emitter mat with this texture in the MXI Slot... map the sphere and - let there be light ! ! !

Nice idea Bakbek and good render :)
So many things to play with, MXI, SSS. I get to impatient to wait for a render to finish, I just wanna keep testing all these new features.

great test, nice colors :) looks like you have less noise using plastic with sss than a blurry dielectric.
