I know you already bored with this scene but I selected this for it's efficiency.
It all uses diffuse materials, textures and bumpmaps.
I'll update this image tomorrow morning.
Because it just could reach sample 6 yet and going on...
Don't you think it's promising :) (w/ -hd mode!)

j_petrucci, aldaryn: thx for the compliments about texture. it has a real story,
months before i was roaming and thinking what to render, this idea came up
and i told one of my friend at work to scan this paper... he asked me if he'll
do it 300 dpi as usual.. i looked at him :shock: and said "nooo man, 2400 please!" :lol:

mtripoli: yeah man these are cheap bad toilet rolls that our boss supply us at the office :mad: :lol: :lol: :lol: i don't use them :cool: i had my own...hehe

adam: pentiumIII is still at home... finally i made a new comp :)
it's p4 2.8HT now at home but this is rendered with the computer at the office it's p4 2.6HT

here's a update, but it was already nice after 3 hours,
now a longer time one but just makes sense for the details :)

btw/ please someone help and tell me a site that i can up these because imageshack is resizing big ones...

buffos, yeah i also think it's not a simple linear improvement but yes it's hard to see the difference practically. however this doesn't mean there's a small difference technically. let's say it reaches to an acceptable level faster now ;)

what a cheap boss you have, how does he expect people to be productive with tp like that?

I notice in the last image there are banding issues, did it come out of the framebuffer like that or is it because of PS adjustments?
