Ever since I bought MW, I had issues with the Studio. Say I'd right-click an object in either the viewport or the object list, and try to apply a material - boom! Instant crash. This drove me up the walls.

Now, I was exporting from SketchUp - could that be the problem? I'm asking, because I've been experimenting with a Modo > C4D > Studio workflow, and ... lo and behold ... no more problems. Suddenly I can right-click + apply mats to my heart's content.

I'd try switching off vertex buffers from prefs>OpenGL, and check with the scenes created from Sketchup. If you have any of these instant crashing scenes, please send it to me.

Allright. Still ... doesn't answer my question. Is it harder for the Studio to handle SU meshes than C4D ones?
