Just wanted to shout out a thank you to NL for such a great product. It is amazing the way the output has improved from our office since the investment and also joining a group with very different modelling app preferences together to create and help each other out in the rendering department.

Also in hindsight the investment in the beta really paid off:
Beta at half the retail price
4 core license transformed to 4 machine license.
+1 license

Means we got 8 licenses for the price of 0.5 Now that IS a good deal!

I'll go along with that...also bought in beta but had it on the shelf for quite a while...just recently made the commitment to do use Maxwell exclusively. The new C4D plugin in awesome.

Just wondering Peder...how did you manage to "transform" a 4 core license to a 4-machine license"???

I didn't do it. NL changed the licensing policy and upgraded all users to the new system with this generous interpretation. Also the +1 license was a gift from NL to compensate for some bumps in the road.

This could be really good news...I also rec'd the +1 comp license after the beta "hiccups", so wonder if I really can run my 2 licenses on 5 machines??? Will have to check with NL as this definitely makes the future a little brighter...could use some of that...(by the way....I'm VERY happy with Maxwell at this point...decided to move forward with it rather than VRay for all my future work) :D

Update: NL confirmed that the beta and +1 licenses were for 4 machines each!!!!

Yes thanks, its actually or most probably the only renderer that you buy and get your money back from the first image you sell.

Many many thanks to bring such renderer to the CG community.
