Maxwell Gurus,

Each time I export a new model, all the objects come into Studio with the name "Element123455" etc. Each element has an attached material coming out of ArchiCAD. My problem is that, the materials are all disorganized, and I want to group all objects of like materials (for ease of reapplying materials) I spend hours individually selecting objects with like materials (I manually sort 1000+ objects in this manner before I can even begin to do anything with Studio). There has got to be a better way!

There are some things you can do to speed it up. First right click in the Material list panel>Remove Unused. There may be materials exported which aren't applied to any object. Then select each material in the list, rightclick>Select assigned objects, then in the object list panel rightclick>Group.
