Hello:

I have two renders done on separate machines. The mxi files are each 337MB. I manually merged them and ended up with a 46GB file.

Does this sound right? It seems awfully large. MXCL crashed trying to load the resulting file.

No way! That's way too big. The merged mxi should be about the same size as each of the two originals.
