I second lllab! Great job NL and A-Team. Maxwell is becoming an awesome product! (even tho I thought it was already awesome to begin with :) )

can you make the AGS material a frosted/coated glass?

I'm assuming you can still adjust the roughness of the material, correct?

EDIT*** NEVERMIND I JUST READ ABOVE THIS, LOL***EDIT

Great, great ... the new AGR material!

I am happy to get soon the V1!!! :)

For the glas Material we can use a single face or a thin box as glas geometrie, is this right?

Only the refraction is not posssible with AGR material, then we must use Dielectric material, is it so?

If it's not so, when we use Dielectric Material and when we use AGR material?

yes, you can use both types if you want.

Biing biing biing, correct!
when we use Dielectric Material and when we use AGR material?
AGS is ment for thinner glass surfaces where refraction effect wouldn't matter.

thank's for your reply Mihai, now i knew in which situation i must use
the different glas material AGR and Dielectric.

The AGR material is realy great in Architectural renderings for me!!!

how will this new archi glass work on curved glass surfaces ?
As you can see, in the curved glass of the red/yellow cars works fine with reflections. If you want to render something like a bottle, refraction is really needed to show something near to reality, so you should use normal glass

Very good idea to implement this material .. and even better idea to create it using the existing Maxwell material. Really shows the power of the material system. Looking forward to try this out :D

What about applying bump maps to the AGS, will it accept them?
Yes, the second layer accept bump maps, clipmap, roughness maps, anisotropy, reflectance 0º and 90º maps, etc. So you can render a translucent concrete wall casting shadows through it

CAn you give us a fast preview of this?
Sometimes one image is more than many words!
