No, I meant that he is hesitant to release feature information or predict release dates because it has backfired on him in the past (if you look at the pre-RC1 release hype fiasco as unanticipated). Things have certainly not gone according to plan for NL. Some are better at coping with situations like this than others. It would do NL well to consult with an expert about how to rectify the company's image. It is possible. Right now it seems like things are at a stand-off.

I agree that collecting the money up front was a bad idea.
I try to instill the idea in my son that it's never too late to try to right a wrong. Even if it doesn't fix things. Even if [you've already] lost friends or supporters for good.
