I really don't remember the white balls but red one was Candle Wax. White balls are maybe made of default settings initially comes with the creation of a new SSS layer or something very close.

Preferably -depending on how heavy you need the pattern visibility- I'd suggest an additional BSDF but KurtS is technically right. If you're after multicolor candles with distinguishable patterns or gloss variances you should build all waxes on a separate SSS and weight them. But if your texture is a complicated picture with no wax blending sense a BSDF could be convincing, too. Well, it depends...
