Absolutely exquisite renderings! Not to mention your design. I'd give a pinky toe to be able to do that.

These are exceptional Mane162- very refined.

I like your design and the quality of render/materials/mapping is fantastic!

This should turn out to be great portfolio/school work! :D

Hi Mane:

I like very much your renders.
I saw your floor wood material on page 2 of this threat. As I can see your bump map is a grayscaled difusse map, but what is the specular one? I am trying to learn.

Thanks in advance

Hello Sergio, specular map is another b/w image, but some levels modifications were applied in photoshop, there are some posts about reflexivity and specularity in this forum. (use search botton and you´ll find them). I hope it was usefull for you...

Mane, thanks a lot. I undestand:
There are many parameters inside textures. I can take a oak wood texture and display it as a pine wood bump map with metal reflection.
This kind of freedom or easy management is a little bit crazy thing.

Hello Pedro3822, if you read thouroughly this thread you´ll find the answer to your question, but i don´t mind repeat the settings:

pedro3822 wrote:can you share the reflectivity map?

and can you share your project because i cannot achive your results, just need the exterior walls, so i can merge my scene to yours and set the same scale

Please, please

because i export my scene from archicad, so the scales must be differents
It´s going to be so dificult to share my proyect...(you know   ), ask your doubts and i´ll answer as soon as possible. Here is the reflexive map:

I should interject something of importance in relevance to the work that Mane162 very hard at work here.

Mane162 is sharing with us some of his explorations with his current school project. As part of the community is it acceptable to ask for Mane162 to share his settings if he desires so.

What may not be exactly proper in a very public manner is to ask for someone to share their project files. Some of these project files are being created for outside clients who actually own the digital work if so by contract.

Student work is most often the property of the University that it is conducted for.

I would say it would be better to ask this kind of question in a private email not in a public thread such as this because of the statements above.

Mane162, I really like the hard work you have put into the beautiful pieces you have shared with us, and even more thankful of the settings and knowledge that you have also shared.

For that, I personally have a lot of respect for your hard work and feel the need to say what I have out of that respect.

:)
