take a look at my post about 5 posts up and QuakeMarine's reply. Basically you need to click the file and hit the Upload button to actually get it to transfer from your computer to the farm, THEN press the play button.

I upload a mxs file and start rendering but never finished. It started last night and this morning still said rendering. I stop and re-start and i got a message that's said no project found. What's wrong?

i killed all jobs from "demo" account yesterday - read my first posting about new login

the user name is wagurto en the project was call perdomo resident. I created an account.
I already delete the job but I wuold like to know whats wrong.

Found a little problem here:
When you have more than 2 cameras in your .MXS file, when importing, REBUSfarm Manager takes the resolution of the camera that is 'set as active' and applies it to all of the cameras.
For example, I have 2 cameras:
Cam_1 - set as active, with resolution 2001x873
Cam_2 with resolution 1000x1500
and here's what's happening when importing:


I gave it a try and left 2 images render without changing those settings, to know if it really has an effect on camera settings.
Luckily, both images came out in right resolution - just as I saved them in Maxwell.
That means, it doesn't have a real effect on cam settings. But it could confuse users, while working with Manager.

New try here. This time the file uploaded fine but after a few minutes of rendering it stop working and stop responding. i exited the program and try to reload and know it said that I don't have connection try to disable my firewall.
what's going on?

found something else:
- if I give my camera a name that contains some german letters (like ä, ö or ü) the final files cannot be downloaded! Please mention this forehand!
(the file is rendered, but I'm unable to download it.)

- you always name the final file 'camera name'_'output name' could you do it the other way round?
It is confusing to look for a special scene that I know the name of but only find it when looking after the camera name.. (that I normally don't know by hard but have to look it up in the file)

the error by connecting to farm is the default error message if password or user name is wrong - you may did a typo ?

If I login to your account I see the job with status "error" but job ist twice in our database

we will fix the "play" button bug - it may help

One more:
When uninstalling Rebus Manager, there's a message that goes something like:
'Uninstall complete. Not all the files where deleted. They will be removed after the next reboot'
You click finish, and machine reboots automatically, forcing all applications running to close without saving etc.

but you not need to uninstall - the Farminizer is a simple standalone tool - nothing special "installed"
