yeee TOM... what is the thing about C4D, so many like it here that i can't figure out how MAX & MAYA are the industry markers!!!

is there a comparison some were around the web on all this apps... what is the best points of one over the other and such... for example i can say that no app is good for architectural design like sketchup as long as you stay away from curves... but even then it is good.

i guess in the end the bottom line is how much u pay and how much u get... so... what is the best ? ? ?

I too am waiting for the C4D and XSI plugin and I understand that many are anxious, but guys have some regard and let others have their say for apps that are not even listed for plugins instead of flooding this thread for apps that already been listed to get plugins.

On point to the thread I vote for a messiah plugin.

Why would these guys even consider doing a plugin for anything but sketchup, it makes good sense to create a plugin for the only modelling app (the easiest and fastest growing to boot) that no one else yet has.

Seems like common sense and good marketing to me!

I would put SketchUp on top of the priority list now!
(I believe C4D is almost ready anyway).

ArchiCad I would also like to see soon.

Vue5 is on the plug-ins list but not in the pole. If the Vue plugin would mean that you can render any Vue scene using Maxwell that would be wonderful. It hurts my head to think what you could do by combining the Vue atmosphere editor and the new ecosystem materials & Maxwell. If the plugin will only export basic geometry without atmosphere, ecosystem & plants and materials to Maxwell I don’t see it as being so important.

Like you said... but i must say it also. VEU 5 Infinite support will only be good if it supports all the features... that is not having to replace materials to maxwell in order for it to work for example.
