How many times have you used fog in your Maxwell renders?
Well, as a Cinema/Studio user I never even had the option to use it, and
I guess that's true for most people here.

For outdoor scenes, fog/haze creates scale, so on the long run I really think
it is a valuable option. Not the most important thing, agreed.

I love these "arguments" like "how many time you ever used it?". It's a feature, and it's doesn't work. As well as SSS which is not SSS at all in v1.

Hi,
tokiop wrote:...however the problem is the rhino plug-in for Micha, but it seem mosts plug-ins (exept 3dsmax perhaps) are problematic for their users and there is nothing new here..
The development of the plugins is the main priority right now, you will see continuous improvements in all of them, this is not going to happen only with Rhino.

The development of the update is running very good but we are not going to announce release dates anymore. When the update is ready you will receive a mail with the announcement, there will not be more countdowns that put too pressure in the development and decrease the quality of the product. Of course you will get a list of new features and bugs fixed (both are enormous ;) )

Sounds great (also a good idea not to announce release dates - its done when its done). Thanks for the information Juan

Hi guys,

Because I do a lot of tight deadline-based production work I have to agree with Micha that V-Ray workflow is much more efficient and pleasant to use because of its perfect integration in 3ds Max.

Because I do love the amazing photographic quality of Maxwell I try to use it when I find the chance, and I'd like to ask you what you mean by the Material Wizard I've seen mentioned in this topic. Where can I find that and does it maybe form a bridge between the easy to use Maxwell 3ds Max materials and the new more powerful layered Maxwell materials?

Thanks and cheers,

Metin
