Very wierd..... :?

Although it still looks like you have some artifacts occuring in the back side of the object - hard to tell at this resolution.

Not sure what was going on before. I wonder if the geomety for your emitter objects were strange. Though, I can't imagine that would have effected the render like that.

Nothing special, just some square.

I also rendered with the first setting at that resolution, the lines was really present and clear. That's not the case here.

I tryed another rendering this morning by meshing the object but i still have the same problem.
Sent you a file...

... another thing to check is "coincident faces" causing unwanted rays to bounce unpredictably. Try leaving a very very small gap at the point where the object attaches to the base and see if it improves further.

Here is an attempt on the IGES file
  • Imported into Rhino V4
  • exploded
  • rebuild edges
  • Joined
  • Adjusted mesh settings to standard "smooth and slower"
  • saved, exported the mxs via V3 and back into your scene
  • It renders with all emitters and reflectors present (image is at SL14.81)

Thanks Thomas,

I'm trying to rerender with your updated model. I will keep you informed in one hour.

EDIT:
Unfortunatly, the result is the same Thomas...but the lines are at different place. I really don't understand!

EDIT:
I have checked and modify the original volume to avoid any coincidence face. The rendering seems to be better. I think the problem come from that.
As you and michaelplogue can render the part without problem, that means the others part that i have in the final model could interfered. I will check.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH THOMAS FOR YOUR HELP.
