There's actually a series of DVD's I've always wanted to do that are basically recipies for all sorts of stuff I've picked up along the way. To be honest, the best of the best are far better than I am, but most instructional stuff is so amateur as to be nearly useless, in my opinion. I was sort of hoping to at least bridge the gap a bit...

Mike, I love it, being a huge Star Wars fan I love when you bust out with these renderings. Once cooperative rendering is up and running I say we do a small Star Wars animation. I'll have plenty of CPU power to donate!

I'm embarrassed to say with the way things are but I've got 120 licenses and the CPU's to match so I'm as hopeful as anyone that cooperative rendering works.

did you already prepare some big BIG BIG scenes to render ? some huge amount of emitters, a kilotonne of diamants ?

No, I've been to busy just trying to get normal sized scenes to render in under 100 hours to even think about something like that.

Just think...all the frustration we all feel is multiplied by 30 for Maxer...don't know how you keep from exploding. That is quite the investment in Maxwell...wow.

Yes I know it's a lot, what can I say I hurried to get my licenses before the offer expired, little did I know that offer was going to run for 6 months.
