..i still think the choclate could be done better, but i let someone else improve it further.
The malachite material actually uses sss, you can barely see the text from the sss bars shine through the stone surface texture. For these types of materials i'd love to have volumetric materials, meaning they project the maps through the inside of the mesh and not just on the surface. That would be soooo powerful and awesome but also incredibly resourcehungry and timeconsuming to render.
I played a bit tonight with a closeup of a human skin material, but i don't know.. this one feels kinda odd and unrealistic. But i post them here anyways.

I'm sorry about all the variations i posted above, but it's from the progress of this skin material. I can't decide what looks good and bad but i think the last one at the bottom of this post looks okay..
