Although I don't speak french here are my 2 cents:

I am german and in the wish list section I already had a discussion with some german people some time ago. They wanted to have a german section.
I don't think we should separate by languages except the ones that already exit. It is really fine the way it is and we don't need any more language sections here. As most of you have proven with their statements that they are capable of speaking/writing english it should not be that big problem for most of us to stick to this one language - english.

That way we keep in touch with a lot more people and discuss more open than restrict the discussions to certain language threads because the others don't understand or don't want to read the section belonging to ... (put in the language of your choice).

I really like it the way it is. It doesn't matter that it's for different programmes but please don't separate by languages!

I think it also improves my english and gives me a different view to some things to here from people sitting on the other side of the earth. So please stick to english as almost everyone understands it!

Yep, it sounds right to me!

And maybe people that don't have that basic level necessary to fly through this forum won't need a specific language forum anymore, as Version 1 is to be released in a few weeks, and hopefully, perfectly documented user manuals may be sold within the package, no??!!

Et il ne faut pas oublier que les gens réclamant une section dédiée à leur langue maternelle n'auront bientôt plus besoin de ça puisqu'avec la 1.0, nous sommes en droit d'espérer un manuel détaillé digne de ce nom, n'est-ce pas??!

J'avais déjà plus ou moins commencé à ouvrir des discussion sur le site de vocanson.fr (très très bon site par ailleur). Il suffit de demander à l'admin Doodoo, d'ouvrir une section spécifique à maxwell. Il m'a ouvert une section sur xsi déjà.

Quant à ceux du tout pour l'anglais, bien que parlant moi même parfaitement l'anglais, je trouve la solution du restons tous groupé un peu limite. certains ne parlent pas anglais, ils devraient avoir le droit d'accéder à un forum en francais.

Quant à la dilution de l'information, elle existe de fait. Un forum en français ne me poserait aucun problème, surtout que je suis sûr que l'on se ferait un plaisir d'annoncer en anglais et en espagnol si on trouve une fonctionalité caché de maxwell juste histoire de montrer qu'on est les plus forts (ce qui reste à démontrer).

Pour résumer : Oui je suis favorable à un forum en francais, je ne vais pas pleurer si il n'y en a pas, et je me rabbat pour l'instant sur vocanson.fr. Voilà.
