that's very interesting! does this mean that maxwellbench does tell us also something about how well the scene is optimized? please tell us more, maybe how this bench works internally - of course i understand that this probably is still in development, but it would be interesting to know what we can learn from this indication.tom wrote:MaxwellBench 1.0: 9.138018
Well, about this low benchmark...
It's not the benchmark of your hardware itself. (simply your computer)
It highly depends on your scene and this is why it's 9 here on this config.
And 9 seems like I made enough torture while setting up the scene
It's all about dielectrics under complex bounces.
Result:
You can only use MaxwellBench for comparing "the same scene" on different machines.
