I've only had M~R for a couple of months so this news is easier for me to swallow. Waiting for 2 more months for a final release sounds fine.
How ever if I had my hopes up based on NL statments I would be angry now as well. Shame on you Oscar!
I've also considered that if all the features bacome part of this "beta" then they will loose money to people buying M~R at a discount. Assuming that M~R lives up to its potential they would not want to give M~R away at such a price...
