Agree on the chair color... also, where's the light coming from? Giant windows off camera right?

The texturing mapping of the stage, chairs, carpet, and walls is excellent. I do agree with mverta on the lighting, I would now go about taking out that emitter, and start placing emitters in those ceiling down lights to get an authentic interior illumination. The image also needs some adjustment with iso to give it some more contrast but overall what you have so far is very good and I can see this will lead to fantastic final image!

It's a very good scene already Wolf, and it'll be much better once you done some of the suggestions the guys mentioned.

But it didn't leave me with much to give you crits about since the most obvious things were mentioned already, the only thing i can come to think of now if some directional spotlights to lit up the stage area more and perhaps also fix the curtains a bit but not much. And well.. the obvious things.. let it render longer :P

Other than this, great work so far Wolf!

... my suggestion: make some extra border elements between surfaces like ground/wall or stage ground/stage front wall.

it looks a bit little flat. i think this is because a both left and right on the walls are not enought to fill this scene's design.

it would looks much better if you add some stuff in there. and suggestion from me turn on ceilling down light.

Wolfkiller, the only other comment I have at this moment is that for the final, render this with the -HD option and render it twice the size it is now, so that when you reduce it, the quality will be much improved and noise will be much less.

Dunno if it helps but u can try incorporating something like this into the existing lights (making it real small):

Image

with a tiny single plane emitter and the inverse cone which should focus the beam....

some nice lsi fixtures here: http://www.evermotion.org/forum/viewtop ... 30&start=0 but like u said the specular effect you've got works pretty well...
